About the Owners
Michael Huber, FP-C, CC-EMTP, CMTEPresident, Co-owner
Michael is a Sparta native growing up on his family's dairy farm near Sparta. At a young age he became a leader and was actively involved in 4-H and FFA. His EMS journey started in April of 2007 as an EMT at the local ambulance service. He quickly realized he wanted to continue his training to become a Paramedic and eventually complete the Critical Care education. Michael has extensive training and experience in nearly all aspects of pre-hospital and out of hospital care. Additionally, he has been a TEMS Medic with the local tactical team since 2015 and a flight paramedic since 2012. Michael is also active with the Sparta Rotary Club on various community projects.
John Krause, FP-C, CC-EMTP, MTSP-CVice President, Co-owner
John is a transplant from Connecticut, having moved to Wisconsin in 2015. He attributes his passion for EMS to his parents, who were volunteer FF/EMT's, along with his other family members who served in the fire service. He started his EMS career as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT and as a Medic in the Army. He's worked as an EMT in NYC and in East Windsor, CT. After moving to WI, John started his career as a Paramedic, eventually working his way up to a Flight Paramedic in 2017. John has also been a TEMS Medic for the local tactical team since 2017.
John's time in the army took him on two deployments (Kuwait-'09-'10 & Afghanistan-'11-'12). He also had the opportunity to attend the Critical Care Flight Paramedic program, where he received his initial Paramedic and Critical Care education.
